Which would you choose? And a winner!

Good morning, as I wait for the Papal smoke to appear (I find it sooo exciting) I  chose a winner for my silver tray giveaway via random number and that lucky winner is.......

Result is 24
Congratulations on your one year anniversary. It is hard to believe it has been that long. I want it all!!! But would be very satisfied with the gorgeous filigree tray. I have been searching all over Texas for the perfect tray for my powder room to hold guest towels. This is it!!

Hi there...well with spring nearly on our doorstep. At least I think its going to be, barring any "surprises" from mother nature, I must admit I have been doing my fair share of day dreaming of bright blue skies, cool spring breezes, explosions of color from blooming buds and the smell of fresh cut green grass. Sounds good, huh? I cannot wait to steal a few minutes to grab a book, and a cup of coffee or tea and settle into a cozy nook outside and "get away" from everything.Just me, my book and good ol mother nature. It is definitely one of my most anticipated free luxuries, costs nothing but feels like a million bucks!

So imagine this........your family are all occupied doing their thing for the entire day. All of your chores/calls/emails have been addressed and completed. You are free as a bird. It is 68 degrees absolutely picture perfect. All phones get turned off. The only ring you hear is the sweet chirping of the happy birds doing a little spring dance. You excitedly grab that book you have been waiting to start, brew a fresh cup of coffee, throw on your flip flops and head outside for a few hours of uninterrupted bliss! So...you know the drill, pick your patio setting. Which one beckons to you? I can't wait to hear.....

No one said this would be easy!! I see a few calling my name but if forced, think I could narrow it down. Do you prefer small cozy intimate spaces or larger grander ones that give you plenty of room to move around if you so choose? As I am doing now, I will start this post off with my own comment...can't wait to hear from you! Wishing you a wonderful day........

  1. As always I start the comments with one of my own....so this is hard. Very hard and I now understand why its hard to choose just one. I am sorry but for me, its a three way tie....between 2,12 and 14.I love all three and feel they most emulate my style and they are all as elegant as they are inviting. There are a bunch of others I love too but those three would make me one happy girl!! Your turn.......

  2. Choice 7! of all these lovely choices! Breakfast on the chaise-lunch with friends at the table!!!

  3. I love the scenario you painted, finally an easy one! For me its number 4, it looks removed from everything, it is its own little oasis, a refuge which is what I like in an outdoor setting, something small and intimate. Its wonderful but then again they all are!

  4. Definitely number 3! It looks so cosy and inviting and has such beautiful bright flowers surrounding it...perfect!

  5. Hi Tina, 6 or 11 for me. They are both incredible!
Got my clutch yesterday and just love it, even better in person and can't wait to wear it on my vacation next week!

  6. It has to be 11 or 15 for me!~ If it is family... we are all about comfort and relaxing. Some of those outside rooms are a little fussy for my men to be flopping on! Wonderful selections as always!!!! And what fun!

  7. The cozyness of #14 appeals to me and think I would enjoy the chaise, but #6 keeps pulling me in for some reason. Totally different, I know. All are great choices.

  8. Number 14 for me! love the look and different seating/lounging options.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Can't decide between 2, 12 and 15...so beautiful and those cushions in 12 look like the most comfy things ever!

    ReplyDelete
  10. I love choice 2 with choice 11 running a close second. Lovely all aroung though.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Choice 3 is calling my name! All those pretty clay pots, the fire, the lovely table, the pergola with the roses, yes, choice 3 looks like it would be right at home out my back door.

  12. Choices #8 and #11. 11 looks sooo comfortable and cozy. Then for some reason I am imagining the ocean or sea beyond in #8; maybe a few more large palms for shading the lower seating area. Currently reading The Aviator's Wife; Excellent!

  13. Hi Tina...I love this scenario! I love #2 and #15...wish it was warm enough for patio sitting today. I am recovering from minor surgery and have to rest so any of these would be perfect. Instead I am glued to the TV on "Pope Watch"!

    Enjoy your day! xoxox

  14. Hello Tina......all great pictures and very relaxing looking settings! However, it is 11 and 14 for me.......look heavenly.

We have near 60 degrees here today and the first signs of spring are sprouting so thats a great sign that spring is finally here.

  20. Okay, so maybe this is against the rules, but...I'm choosing #14 and tweaking it by adding the fountain from #16 along with the fireplace from #12...oh, and how about if we just "borrow" that gorgeous hydrangea centerpiece back there in #2? Ah, Perfection! I'll meet you out back. ~LauraM

  21. Tina I like that you started with your own comment and love your choices. I also love 2, what a picture perfect backyard, and I love 14 and totally different but love the coziness and intimate feeling of number 3. I would happily take any of these beautiful backyards.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I would choose 3,7 or 12. I had a hard time choosing one backyard, as you can see. They are gorgeous.

  25. I love number nine. That is my choice because it is based on reality not a fantasy. We all love the fantastic but when I look in my wallet I see what I can afford and what I cannot. This is beautiful and I can have it and I will have it. I think this is the most beautiful and soon it will be mine.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ditto on 2 & 14! I'll narrow it down to # 2 so I can stretch out on that comfy sofa, read my book, then toss the flip flops and go for a swim.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Okay, it was tough but I narrowed it down to #9 and #14. I would have my socks and slippers on, my feet/toes are always freezing. Maybe I just need to get away from the snowbanks of Montana......

  28. I like #3. It looks so cozy and warm. I just love it! Faith B

  29. Tina, number 14 looks so perfect. Love your blog.

    ReplyDelete
  46. So tough!! 11, 13 and 14.. but how difficult it would be to choose just one! I guess I would have to choose 11! Love them all.

  48. I'm just going to pretend I could go a sit every in a new location. This was a difficult choice. I have to say a fireplace outdoors is so nice. I'm feeling slightly guilty at our 80 degree - blue sky weather. Spring has definitely sprung here. Hope it comes your way soon. :)

  49. I choose No. 2. Love blue and yellow! Appears comfy and cozy, yet neat and tidy.

    View is gorgeous.

  57. 2, 11 or 13 for me! I love feeling cocooned and love comfy, plush chairs to curl up in. I am just dreaming of warmer days. Just back from Florida with the family and feel like I got a big cold slap in the face with this weather.

    Come on Spring...where are you?!!!

  58. It has been lovely, dreaming away about the perfect place to be sitting right now, Tina. I chose 1. Love the Tuscan feel to it...but I also love the cozy French no. 4. and the mystery in no. 9.

    hugs Z

  59. Just find me reading a James Patterson mystery in Choice 3, 11 or 14! May I have some Sweet Tea, please!!! When I looked at your choices I could see you in each one. Pure Classical. Lovely!!!☺

  60. Okay, I have to say this: When are you going to create a magazine? Your vision, the interactive conversations you employ, your abounding energy and, your work ethic, creativity, curiosity, your taste. Seems to me you are perfectly suited as an Editor. If you do not choose the grueling grind of producing a magazine every month, what about a book. Please consider these ventures. I offer my encouragement with good intentions. A fan!☺

    ReplyDelete
  61. I have to say this really stressed me out! How can I pick one???? ugh but if I had too....If I must... well 3 is so beautiful! 7 is so up my alley! But the view of 8 is killer! 11 is also calling me! ::sigh:: If I must pick, It would be 12! BUT, I would add elements of 3 and a little of 11! lol

    ReplyDelete
  62. 2 what a relaxing view, 7 for the crystals and roses, 14 and 16 - for the luscious green enveloping.

  65. Always you provide exclusive posts for me

  66. All the spaces are gorgeous so it is very hard to choose. We live in Southern California where is almost never rains and, when it does, it is cold and windy, so my choices are narrowed to the spaces without a solid covering. There is just no point in going out to the patio when it rains.

Second requirement for me is a patio with beams to support deciduous vines. Size, well, seating for at least 8 people. Finally, again, because we are in Southern California, the patio should be on the east side of a building to receive sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon.

So that makes Choice #3 and perhaps #14 for me!

    ReplyDelete
  67. LOve this one! I would definitely choose #16 as I adore creeping fig and the whole Charleston garden vibe.
    Happy Weekend Tina!

  69. Seriously??? How can I decide? Well this is why I think we all need at least 3 houses!! I love many of these. I prefer small and cozy, but I am going to have to choose 10. We used to have a summer cabin on the side of a mountain in North Carolina, and number 10 looks like it might have some stunning mountain views. You have the BEST taste because all of these are gorgeous.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Lovely choices but number 11 is mine.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Catching up, but there were so many 4, 14, 15, even 16, but 15 is a perfect spot to sit out in the morning, rain or shine! I have a little backporch almost just like this, my favorite get away spot.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Absolutely love these new styles of wooden collection! Especially the last picture, this gives me a real South of France summer feel! :o) x
